Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide – No Experience Necessary

Location: Southampton, NY
Position: Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide
Shifts: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21.38 per hour
The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a reliable and motivated Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide to join our dietary team.
No healthcare experience is necessary — we are willing to train the right person!
If you have experience working in a restaurant, deli, fast-food establishment, cafeteria, catering operation, grocery store, or other food-service environment , you may be a great fit for this opportunity. We are looking for dependable team members who take pride in providing excellent service and are willing to learn.

What You'll DoDeliver food carts and meal trays to resident dining areas and units.
Assist with meal and tray service, ensuring residents receive the correct meals and portions.
Work on the tray line , preparing and assembling resident meal trays according to established menus and portion requirements.
Follow proper food handling, serving, and sanitation procedures.
Assist with dishwashing, pot washing, and kitchen cleaning .
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dietary department, kitchen, and equipment.
Assist with daily kitchen and food-service duties as assigned.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and facility policies .
Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure timely meal service.
Provide courteous, respectful, and friendly service to residents and staff.
No healthcare or long-term care experience required — training is provided!
Previous food service, dietary, kitchen, restaurant, deli, cafeteria, fast-food, catering, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability and willingness to learn proper food handling and serving methods .
Ability to follow menus, portion guidelines, and dietary instructions.
Knowledge of food sanitation and safety practices is a plus.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must demonstrate a professional, respectful, and compassionate approach when interacting with residents.
