Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver supports the Parts Department by delivering parts to customers in a safe, timely, accurate, and professional manner. This position is responsible for operating a company delivery vehicle, assisting with parts handling and organization, maintaining accurate delivery records, and representing Lilley International with a high level of customer service and professionalism. A commercial driver’s license is not required for this position.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Pull, verify, and load parts accurately and efficiently for scheduled deliveries.
• Deliver parts to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner while following all applicable traffic laws and company safety expectations.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the company delivery vehicle and assigned parts area.
• Ensure company decals, logos, and other identifying materials on the delivery vehicle are properly displayed and maintained.
• Tag parts with accurate customer information and place items in the appropriate bins or staging areas.
• Enter delivery, customer, and parts information accurately into the computer system and process applicable credits as directed.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, supervisors, and team members regarding delivery status, customer needs, and any issues requiring follow-up.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous delivery, warehouse, parts, automotive, or heavy-duty truck parts experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts is preferred.

• Valid driver’s license required; clean driving record preferred.
• Commercial driver’s license is not required.
• Ability to operate a company delivery vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow delivery instructions, customer information, and company procedures.
• Ability to use basic computer systems to enter delivery, customer, parts, and credit information accurately.
• Reliable, punctual, dependable, and able to manage time effectively.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations:

A valid driver's license demonstrating a clean driving record is required. Commercial driver's license is not required.

Pay Structure:

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, licensing requirements, and company compensation practices.

Benefits:

• Insurance benefits begin on the first of the month following 60 days

Work Environment:

This position operates in a parts department, warehouse, customer delivery, and vehicle-based work environment. The employee may be exposed to varying weather conditions, traffic conditions, moving vehicles, warehouse activity, and standard shop or parts department conditions.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, reach, lift, carry, load, and unload parts or related materials. The employee must be able to safely meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
